pool-collage-fwsccFolsom Wellness & Sports Conditioning Center houses a "state of the art" indoor pool specifically designed to meet the needs of many.

Our instructors are certified aquatic exercise specialists and have many years of experience.

The principals of water offer a state of decreased gravity and compressive forces, allowing individuals to exercise with less discomfort, while improving mobility, flexibility, strength and conditioning.

We offer a variety of classes as well as Gym Memberships. Drop ins are welcome. Class size is monitored to ensure the quality of the pool environment. Children under the age of 14 are not permitted.

• Fifty (50) feet in length
• 89 degrees
• Depth from 3' 6'' to 4' 6'
• Medically compliant with double handrail staircase
• Hoyer lift for wheelchair bound clients

Schedule

Schedule Descriptions:

Physical Therapy - Patients are scheduled to be seen in the pool by El Dorado Physical Therapy throughout the day. Please be aware of Physical Therapy ONLY times.

Independent Exercise - A NON supervised scheduled time for our Independent Pool Members.

Water Fitness - A low/mid impact exercise class designed to challenge individuals with varying fitness levels and for those who are looking to improve their cardiovascular health.

Joints in Motion - The Joints In Motion class is a hour long class developed specially for those with arthritis to help reduce pain in the joints while still maintaining an active lifestyle.

Posture Perfect Pilates - A 40-minute standing and seated Pilates class that will help you improve posture, balance and strength, range of motion and perform daily activities.

Yoga Lite - is included with gym and aquatic memberships. There is a $10.00 drop in fee for non members. Yoga Lite is perfect for anyone who is new to yoga, for those who experience some physical limitations or for anyone who wants a lower intensity, gentle yoga class. Yoga Lite will include modified yoga postures, breath work, fundamentals of alignment and guided relaxation. options will be give for all levels and participants can do the class standing by of seated in a chair. Please bring a yoga mat, towel, water and a towel.Our Regular Gym Hours Are:

Folsom Wellness & Sports Conditioning Center is a private facility committed to providing a quality environment and specialized care to our participants. Schedules and programming subject to change as needed. Classes will be closed to further enrollment once full to provide the best environment for our clients.

Barbara Catalano AEA, Hydro Tone

Barbara has been working in the aquatic exercise environment since 1991. Certified with the Aquatic Exercise Association (AEA), Hydro Tone, and the 
Arthritis Foundation, she has the ability to work with special populations as well as water fitness enthusiasts.

Joy Cazel AEA, AFAA

Joy has been teaching aquatic exercise classes since 2003. She became interested in teaching aquatic classes because of her love for participating in aquatic exercise. She has received certifications from Aquatic Exercise Association, Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, and the Arthritis Foundation. Joy likes traveling, kayaking, fitness, fantasy football, and volunteering with local non-profit organizations.

INTERESTS

Michelle Galuszka

Michelle has been teaching exercise since 2005. She is AEA (Aquatic Exercise Association) AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association) certified in Aquatic Fitness, Group Exercise, Yoga, Pilates, and Personal Training. Spin certs include LeMond and Kaiser.   She is also a certified massage therapist through the state (CAMTC) California Massage Therapy Council.
